Reich GmbH continuously appreciated as preferred supplier by Bosch-Group
During a visit to Mellrichstadt on March 23, 2010, the Bosch Group recognized Reich GmbH as Preferred Supplier. Reich GmbH, Mellrichstadt was able to achieve outstanding ratings within the scope of the supplier evaluation conducted by Robert Bosch GmbH.
The management of Reich GmbH felt quite honored about this award as it acknowledges the company’s philosophy that providing product quality on the highest level will be rewarded by the customers. At the same time this recognition is also an incentive to keep and even improve the company’s high standards. The high quality standard was also achieved as a result of in-vestments in the two-digit million euro range made during the past 20 years for the acquisition of machinery, as well as plant and measuring instruments.
The business relationship between Bosch and Reich has existed for decades and has been con-tinuously extended during the past years. Meanwhile Reich GmbH has become supplier for three business segments of the Bosch-Group all over the world. These segments are diesel systems, gasoline systems, power tools and ZF steering systems, a joint venture between Bosch and ZF. Reich GmbH, Mellrichstadt, among other countries, delivers products to Tur-key, the USA, Brazil, Korea, India, and Japan. Reich GmbH sold more than 70 million turned parts consisting of over 200 different precision turned parts in the fields of diesel and gasoline injection, as well as special ball bearings for the hammer drill industry.
Only the 20 best suppliers throughout the world receive the status “Preferred Supplier of Bosch Group“. These suppliers excelled in the areas price, logistics, and quality as well as in the fields of communication and development in comparison with their competitors on the market. Reich GmbH has been part of the preferred suppliers for an extended period of time and has now again been recognized for its excellent performance, as already several times in the past.
This recognition is the result of continuous efforts. The basis for these excellent results were created by the large number of staff involved in quality management and quality assurance, high quality testing equipment and measuring instruments of the latest-state-of-the art, as well as close coordination and communication within the scope of a key account concept. In order to achieve its goals, Reich GmbH invests several million euros in new machinery and equip-ment every year and implemented intensive training programs tailored to the particular needs of its expert personnel. This is also confirmed by Key-Account-Manager Raphael Werner, who stated: “The result was only achieved because of our highly motivated staff.”
