Hydrogen

REICH has been producing tank valves for the production and storage of hydrogen in pressure vessels since 2023, which safely store the liquid or gaseous energy source. The hydrogen tanks are used in fuel-cell-powered trucks and in stationary applications to produce and store green hydrogen. The parts are manufactured in Mellrichstadt and at REICH's US location in Arden, North Carolina. The manufacturing steps are complex and can take up to four weeks for a single part – partly because the highest quality requirements (pressure, cleanliness) must be met for the materials used and special certificates are required for quality assurance. REICH can offer batch sizes of 100 to 1 million pieces per year for this growing market.
