Contract manufacturing

Since 2020, REICH in Mellrichstadt has been taking over the further processing of delivered blanks for a customer; these blanks are provided with internal threads by experienced employees on modern automatic lathes. After turning, washing and packaging, the final product is sent back to the customer. These are heat sinks for AdBlue injection nozzles, which reduce nitrogen-oxide emissions in diesel engines. They are part of the exhaust gas after-treatment and, in addition to high heat resistance, must have connections with precise tolerances in order to ensure the tightness of the system. REICH can offer batch sizes of 1,000 to 1 million of these precision turned parts.

REICH also processes various components that require complex gearing or threads on a contract basis for the company's subsidiary MIM in Schwarzenberg. These components are used, among other things, in medical engineering.
